Introduction
Nym is a privacy-focused blockchain project that provides strong network-level privacy against sophisticated end-to-end attackers. It uses anonymous transactions using blinded, re-randomizable, decentralized credentials. Nym’s architecture is based on Loopix, a low-latency anonymous communication system that provides bi-directional ‘third-party’ sender and receiver anonymity and unobservability. Loopix leverages cover traffic and brief message delays to provide anonymity and achieve traffic analysis resistance, including against a global network adversary.

Our Infrastructure
We run a handful of infrastructure required for efficient and smooth functioning of Nym like mixnodes, gateways, network requesters, etc. We are also the genesis validators on Nyx blockchain, the chain which is responsible for storing the history of Nym mixnet and keeping the overall mixnet mechanism secure.
Nyx will be used for additional utility, such as zk-nym (a.k.a coconut credentials) in the future.
